This is a Bryde's whales Currently, there are two subspecies of Bryde's whales. Eden's whale (Balaenoptera edeni) is one of these.

What evidence of evolution was presented? That would have to be some sort of generational study, which would take decades. Unfortunately no, whales are too slow to evolve their way out of man-mad climate (and pollution) disaster. Fortunately, they can, as you say, adapt culturally to new conditions. So, they, like us, have a chance.

Maybe because what he says is just flat out incorrect. Not about the whales, but when he goes into the propaganda, saying we have "unrestrained plundering" of the ocean, when in reality ocean fishing is heavily regulated.

I've never heard of an Eden Whale....aren't these Whales just a smaller species of the Bryde's whale?

@@indyreno2933 No there not, they are a "sub" species of the Bryde's Whale not a seperate species of Whale altogether the only difference between them is one lives offshore and the other does not....calling them an Eden Whale is rather confusing for that reason as it makes them sound like a completely different species. We don't call humans with dwarfism that are simply smaller human beings a different species name then every other human being simply because they are smaller in size

@@jnielsen90, in case you should know, there are ten extant species of rorqual: the Fin Whale (Balaenoptera physalus), the Sei Whale (Rudolphius borealis), the Omura's Whale (Rorqualus omurai), the Rice's Whale (Rorqualus ricei), the Eden's Whale (Rorqualus edeni), the Bryde's Whale (Rorqualus brydei), the Arctic Minke Whale (Pterobalaena acutorostrata), the Antarctic Minke Whale (Pterobalaena bonaerensis), the Blue Whale (Sibbaldius musculus), and the Humpback Whale (Megaptera novaeangliae), thus making rorquals the third largest family of whales.

That's like me saying are you aware Brydes Whales are just a species of baleen whales...these are just similar traits too further classify distinct species into similar traits as each other. A brydes whale is not a fin whale they are distinct species, same as blues and Humpback are too. There is a reason there not all called Fin Whales and have distinct names

As amazing as this is, it's also just so sad. This is all happening due to human greed. People that are more than happy sacrificing ecosystems and sustainability for money and power. Once upon a time the energy field had no friction or very little now with the introduction of the and fatter chunks of information moisture is being excited and pushed to a higher altitude and no longer marrying in with barometric pressure eg: The cold Front relies on moisture to roll across the top of lower level at 12,000 feet spinning and sucking in tropical moisture and producing the grunt to run the gulf stream that circulates the worlds cold water and produces phytoplankton that feeds the worlds fish turns the oceans blue and creates the air we breathe
