The way he nonchalantly said they're attacking us, proves that they have the utmost faith in that vessel. I wouldn't worry about the 'glass' cracking or getting damaged it's designed to the pressure of several thousand metres. They are only at 700m a bit of a bump from a shark probably wouldn't even scratch it. I'd be more worried about the other instruments, wires, cables, lights, fans etc on the outside getting knocked
@goncalomota20432 жыл бұрын
They are 700m deep, that's 70 times atmospheric pressure, it ain't cracking with a few bumps unless they were beyond the safe depth, and I assume the outer hull isn't a part of the pressure chamber, besides its acrylic plastic so it's a bit more flexible than glass

Please don't make the sound effects so cheesy and overly dramatic. It's silly and off-putting
@ronindrix22726 жыл бұрын
@Zachary Thomas Its not really their fault, Its extremely hard to get certain footage (especially underwater) as it is. think about how difficult it is to get a microphone close enough to animals on land, and the fact that most animals are completely silent. teams of people work really hard to make sound effects and aren't going to try nearly as hard for a free youtube vid. besides they probably couldn't even use hydrophone recordings because the sounds would either be mundane and ineffective or too strange and confusing to convey to an audience. I get you guys points but still.
@hmmorrison5 жыл бұрын
Do you think BBC is going to see your comment and care? And I bet if there was no sound/the raw true audio everyone would think it’s super boring because the sound is meant to stimulate the audience. So maybe you go make a high quality documentary in the depths of the ocean.

Most underwater "glass" is made with layers upon layers of lexan polycarbonate. No shark can break that or shatter it.
