It always makes me think that they were put together by top of the line biologists and researchers who spared no expense in getting the very best equipment, 4K ultra high resolution cameras built into state of the art mechanical chassis that are designed to look like the animals they are attempting to observe.. but at the last stage their 5 year old twins wandered into the garage and wanted to help.. so they let them. I swear to all the gods this is a true story. big yard. lots of giant acorn trees. acorns scattered all over the ground. tons of squirrels high up in the branches. i'm a little kid going around picking up as many acorns as i can and putting them in a pile (for some reason...). i can hear the squirrels chittering and chattering in strange ways above me (alarmed by me, maybe). FIVE TIMES over the course of an hour an acorn landed on my head. it wasn't like they were raining down around me (i would maybe see or hear one fall every few minutes). I'M TELLING YOU THOSE SQUIRRELS WERE BOMBING ME WITH ACORNS! THEY THOUGHT I WAS STEALING THEIR FOOD!
