Well, that was a treat to really see what the garden looks like. Those espalier'd fruit trees look very old. As an American, the nearest place I've seen with a kitchen garden that vast was the Mount Vernon estate of George Washington. All are fortunate that His Majesty has such an affinity for gardening and the environment.

Very nice garden. I’d love to see the head gardener Melissa work with Joel Ashton of Wild Your Garden youtube channel, he’s a working expert in wildflower meadows, and champion of traditional U.K. wildflower habitat. I’d like to see Alan celebrate that too. Heritage wild flowers that we consider weeds could be grown and displayed in a new innovative way. I’ve just watched my neighbour pull out a load of red valerian, just when the hummingbird hawk moth is on its way from southern Europe looking forward to a hearty meal ☹️

Missing the wildness and local plants. It is more like a manicured historical arboretum with architectural features thrown in for interest. Sustainability not in my book. It has it's place in garden history though.
