अहमदाबाद के रहने वाले विपुल पटेल ने ऐसा स्कूटर तैयार किया है जो बैटरी और पेट्रोल दोनों से चलता है. लेकिन सवाल उठता है कि कैसे? इलेक्ट्रिक स्कूटर की तरह इस पेट्रोल स्कूटर में भी बैटरी और जनरेटर मोटर लगा है. विपुल जनरेटर का कारोबार करते हैं. उनका कहना है कि इलेक्ट्रिक स्कूटर से लंबी दूरी तय करना मुश्किल है क्योंकि उनकी बैटरी ख़त्म हो जाती है. इसलिए उन्हें ये आइडिया आया. देखिए यह वीडियो.

@@siddharthasahoo508 Sir, I don't know what has been imported from china in order to assemble this scooter. My point of view was to see the brilliance or the idea which was executed in a scooter. Moreover, do you have any other option available or have the ability to produce a lithium ion battery on your name. BTW, China is the only country who has 77% of stake or rights or control over all the raw lithium present in the world. We will be obliged if you provide us with other options.

Yes, effort must be appreciated. But also should be tested thoroughly for all weathers throughout the country. Because many scooters have caught on fire due to excessive heat. There should be some heat management and cooling mechanism in place.
