I lay on my bed while I was watching this wonderful English lesson from Sian 😍❤. The words lie and lay are pretty confusing and their conjugation is a nightmare. After all, thanks for your helpful explanation, sweetie.

So, basically, LAY is directed to anything or anyone else but yourself. For ourselves we use LIE. I'll try to remember it. Thanks BBC :)

Not really. Lie to someone is regular so -d/-d. Lay something carefullay is almost regular. y=i +d/y=i +d. Lie down/Lie in/Lie on..etc Last letter of preposition =n. Lie/lay/la..y=i =lai_. What's the missing letter?......n.
