Not really. Lie to someone is regular so -d/-d. Lay something carefullay is almost regular. y=i +d/y=i +d. Lie down/Lie in/Lie on..etc Last letter of preposition =n. Lie/lay/la..y=i =lai_. What's the missing letter?......n.

Not bad, Hooman. But not quite right. lie, lay and lain = be in a flat position. Good try though! They are confusing!
