I’ve noticed the English language is rich in words with the same or similar meanings. When you two mentioned ‘stepping stone’ it triggered to memory the word ‘breakthrough’

You guys shouldn't give the example of a phrase in the past tense "trode lighlty" it should be "tread lightly", then in e.g. you could use a past tense of that verb underlining it or make it in a different colour. That way you do not confuse people who see that verb for the first time and in examples you also teach them the past form of it. Just a hint from an ESL student :) / Keep up the good work, luv from Poland :*

Hi my favorite team, channel as well, thanks for your time. English language is too fascinating, I know that impose means force someone to do something, so when I had heard that you wanted explaining imposing I thought that you would say forcing haha, so my guess was wrong unfortunately. However,I can use that new word correctly now, therefore I can say my friend is an imposing man because he does exercises everyday. In terms of trod lightly, Mr Dan explained it clearly hahaha, thank you Mr Dan. The last word frankly a new one,and yet it dead easy , and each video on BBC learning English is a stepping stone to improve my English skills.finally,I would thank ma'am Katherine too.
