Bought this Guy's first album in 1988 (on cassette) and sang my heart out to it on the way to work each day for months, this was my favourite track. To hear it 30 years later sounding twice as good is testament to the man's talent. Utter class!

I love the original, it is just perfect in particular the saxophone fills. This compliments and contrasts well, the first few lines are like a tonic taking me back to the 80s. I think he used to have an older mans voice in a young mans body when he did the original, now the two match perfectly.

Good makes a great studio album. Great at least reaches that level in person. This exceeds it. I left similar sentiments on Curstis' VEVO of this song. You may find yourself with tears in your eyes, right about the time you hear those words, but with no idea why. You know this came from Curtis' soul. Crushing and elevating at the same time, it's achingly beautiful. It's one of those songs that, if you wrote it and never another, could validate a career. The saxophone, an instrument lacking in current music, is just the cherry on top. I found this version by a most fortunate accident. Thanks, Curtis!
