Great performance. It's quite frustrating how people go on about there being no good music, no punk, no rock, etc. And then when a band who have been moderately well-known for several years play a show at the most mainstream possible festival, everyone's like 'oh my god, this is amazing, how have I never heard of these guys!'. It makes me wonder where you are looking for your music. We're in a golden age, you just have to spend 10 minutes on google to find incredible music in whatever subgenre you like.

@thegrinderman1090 Жыл бұрын
@@niallrg3708 That's fair, sometimes music does find you. I don't think I've said anything harsh, though. It's perfectly fine to be out of the loop on current artists, and it's perfectly fine to be critical of current music. But to do both at the same time is just pure hypocrisy and/or ignorance. It would be like ordering a margarita pizza from Pizza Hut every night, and complaining how pizza sucks nowadays, and that food sucks in general. Then when anyone says there's other food out there, going "I've tried it all - pepperoni, farmhouse, Hawaiian - it all sucks!". No... I mean order from somewhere else. Even if for some strange reason it needs to be pizza, there's a million other pizza places, many of them doing innovative stuff.

As I always am whilst over that fence. If you know? You know.
Some proper rock n roll . Something Glastonbury was truly lacking with its star studded corporate line up . Glastonbury was way better before the BBC got involved .

Emily and Michael run the show. The blame lies with them, they don't have to have these stars arriving in helicopters. Not sure how you can blame the BBC?

QOTSA and them had the best sets and now they’re set to tour the US together, you love to see it.

Yeah I swore they had a show coming up and now all of sudden there together. Best show around Mos Def
@dookiejohnson4268 Жыл бұрын
Just saw them both in St Louis and Viagra Boys were incredible! I wished their set could go longer by at least a couple songs, QOTSA nailed it and played Avon and First it Giveth for the first time in years and it was electric the whole night.

@@dookiejohnson4268 sounds amazing, I’m seeing them in Arizona in December but sadly viagra boys aren’t attached to that leg of the tour which is a big bummer, would kill to see those guys live especially with QOTSA. The opener for that show is a band called spiritualized, I’ll have to look them up because I’m not really familiar with them

Every time I watch this? I’ve a smile as wide as The Clyde! Superb. And I was there to bear witness to how brilliant it was.

Some earlier poster ‘lost their shoe and their phone’ there. They got them both back. Hey,, it’s Glastonbury. People DO actually give a shit there! Me? I lost my dignity. Still trying to find that one! WHAT a gig!

That is one of the best performances I have ever seen. I have never had so much fun. I can’t even imagine being at this one in particular (you never what level of inspiration and passion you’ll find the band at your local show, but it had me crying with bliss at that saxophone breakdown at the end. What just happened? Was this just a spell? Whatever he took, I’m feeling it’s energy and I’m loving it.) WOW.

Thankfully attitude still exists in music. Well done Viagra Boys
