Theres something about this band....how it all just works. The studio recordings are so perfect that you wouldn't think these tunes would work faster or more lively....but somehow they all manage to lock in and fucking nail it no matter what. These cats remind me of magazine, not sound wise just how everything fits together perfectly.

the more i listen to these the more genius is revealed. spoken work in music is nothing new but here the music and the speech are two completely different unrelated entities that both stand up as a single piece. they dont need each other to be a complete track. you could have the instro or the poetry alone and it would still be good. this is what most people dont get about music or art in general.

It’s an incredibly beautiful country with a very diverse landscape. So many tourists typically flock to Queenstown (which is surrounded by natural beauty) but there are so many other parts that are every bit as impressive if not more so. I feel extremely fortunate to live in this paradise particularly during this Covid pandemic. Our geographic isolation has been of enormous benefit. Less than 2000 COVID cases and
