Love Nadine, one of those rare individuals looking to produce something unique rather than follow the crowd. Isn't that the whole point of strapping on an instrument? Superb musician ❤️

Never heard of her before Jools Holland last night (25/05) , and I was really knocked out by her and her band . Reminded me of many late 70's New Wave bands . Fantastic energy and the drummer is excellent.

I enjoyed this performance whilst slightly terrified. Like nothing I’ve heard/seen in my 45 years so far. Great to hear something so unique.

Love it! This should be the official video for the song instead of the black-and-white marionettes one where you can hardly see Nadine at all.

Nadine has been compared to female artists such as PJ Harvey and is noted for the theatricality of her voice. Brilliant and Unique.

Funny comment . You are right though Joan Baez/Sandy Denny/Dusty Springfield/ Natalie Merchant and Lisa Gerrald are all better

Quite funny, given the title, but I have to say that it doesn't really matter if someone isn't technically great, if their voice sounds right for their own songs. This was the first time I had heard Nadine Shah, and I was quite impressed by the originality of her songs and her unusual voice. I like the fact that you can hear her north-east accent; much more genuine than many modern singers.
