rat Fälschung getting older is totally ok and fine by me... it's just how drastically society has changed since this came out. The fiber of what it is to be "human" and experience life has been flipped upside down with the advent of social media and technology etc. not saying it better or worse... but it's just incredibly different. I could do without it personally.

Meh, but if you were a teenaged girl in the 90s, you already knew men loved their computers more. Some of these 90s songs hit me in the feels, because I suspected as much and time proved me right. Men want the virtual reality porn an anime "girl", not the real one. I tend to look back and feel we girls were fooled to believe love was something that existed, but men prefer tech. This song sounded like a cry of desperation from a girl who wanted to find a kind of love that no longer existed.

I remember the 90s when I was a kid. It’s funny how some things feel dated and some remain fresh. Mazzy Star stands on a strange place where the music doesn’t feel old or irrelevant (all the contrary), but it’s not present either. It carries an ethereal feeling of visiting a place that doesn’t exist anymore but lies in our dreams as real as it was then.

Simple one of the most moving songs ever written. And Hope is more impactful just standing there than half naked pop stars grinding on a microphone stand.

@@elizabethharalson7903 Why would anyone come to watch a Mazzy Star video and then when someone gives praise to the song they feel the need to be a douchebag troll? People like you suck in the world and do nothing but create useless chatter. I still have no clue why people like you have internet connections?

You’ve got to listen with a good set of headphones. The bass is just intoxicating. Then add her voice and Lord!! Honestly this is the best version of the song out there!

Even if she just stood there, frozen in silence, she would effortlessly be this gorgeous, unreachable melancholic goddess, dragging us all into her mystery. Her voice reaches the depths of our longings. Lovely creature.
