What kind of a journalist would begin his story by apologizing for who he has chosen to interview. Not only does he undermine his authority as the story-teller, but he also publicly announces his own - or at least the BBC's - political opinion. Journalism should remain neutral and always be prepared to criticize and investigate all instruments of power and the people who hold them no matter which political party they may belong to. I honestly believe that a major reason for the decline of newspapers and TV stations in most of the Western World is found in a clear left-wing political correct journalism like the ones displayed by the BBC. This has nothing to do with journalism and is an atrocity. So called news reporters like Andrew Marr should be ashamed of themselves.
