I just saw her Tonight Show appearance where she and Jimmy do the silly dance thing... I didn't realize she could be so goofy and fun. The only things I'd ever seen her in were The Hunger Games and Passengers, and there wasn't a lot of goofy fun in THG....

William Wells I’m an actress, and I can honestly say this is so true. After I had performed in a play I never would want to watch a video of the play back. I think it’s because I was so self critical and after being praised for a performance I didn’t want to go back and watch only to feel horrified. The first film I ever did I didn’t end up watching until around 2 years later. I just couldn’t bring myself to watch myself haha

+Elina H That's partly because many of the US talk shows are somewhat fake and staged. It's all about sucking up to the guest and giving the host their 'jokes'. You can see UK actors/actresses struggle with it sometimes because they are used to the way it's done over here. There have been a few exceptions over the years though, Craig Ferguson being one that stands out as someone who threw out the rule book but then he's not really American.

I know right. I'm a ballet dancer for 14 years and I'm so glad that people in the film industry finally said that. Unlike when black swan came out and the film makers were like Natalie Portman did the dancing, and I'm like "That's impossible." So it's nice to see the film industry acknowledge how hard ballet is instead of covering it up.
