Pool chlorine is a relativly safe stable molecule when used in proper dilution, but when it reacts with Urea from pee it forms the toxic chemical Trichloramine. Trichloramine is identified by the quintessential "pool chlorine" smell, this chemical is actually quite toxic and can cause allergic reactions. The only way to remove it from the pool is by draining and refilling the pool, it cannot be filtered and does not evaporate in sufficient quantities indoors. Do not pee in pools kids, it builds up by in concentration overtime.

It cannot be that toxic, little kids who can't always control themselves plus being in a pool causes your need to pee even more than normal, all kids pools would be toxic. Chlorine is there to ensure the water doesn't go bad, not to make it toxic🤷🏻‍♀️
