The most underrated band of the 1980's. I bought the vinyl and the CD back in 1986. And it's in my iPod today, 34 years later. Timeless music. Just as fresh today. I was playing it in my car just the other day and my friend said "Wow...who is this?!? A new band?" I just smiled and said "Not really...no 🙂"

Couldn't agree more. I also bought the album back in the day and still don't get why they weren't huge. Still one of the few albums with no filler, just good songs.

Those of us in Glasgow remember just how utterly HUGE Hipsway were at the time. Everywhere on radio and then pop! they just disappeared. The Honeythief was a cracking song to dance to as well

Their contemporaries Simple Minds had the luck to have one of their songs on the soundtrack of a Hollywood movie- but in my view that first Hipsway album is way better.

I met my wife in 1988 and we both had Hipsway's album. We've been married for 31 years and I still have both copies and it is on my iphone. Tinder is my favourite track. Still sounding great

I love this song. Heard it at Mablethorpe summer 2022 as a soundtrack to one of the rides in the fairground on the front. It worked so well. This is an amazing live performance of one of the best 80s songs. Thank you for the upload.
