Thank you Rose. Im severely hearing impaired and accepting of living in a mostly muffled world. I loathe my hearings aids. I kinda wear them to hear the jumbled groan of bird song, roaring traffic, humming appliances - who knew a vacuum cleaner could make a such a noise. I love my quiet world, I don't feel I miss out on when I do much and here you are showing me possibilities: I don't think I could do what you do and despite our shared experience ' I wouldn't vote for you if you hadn't provided some of the most beautiful moments in our shared, quiet world. Watching this amongst all of her performances I have realised that Rose's deafness has actually been her superpower and has actually given her an advantage throughout the competition. In dance the follower follows the leader but the leader must follow the music and with Rose (the follower) not being able to follow the music, she has no choice but to just follow the expert lead of Giovanni as intended, which she does superbly with a 100% signal-to-noise ratio. If Giovani is always on the music, Rose will never be off the music. Rose doesn't do what she does in spite of her disability, she does what she does because of her 'disability'. What an inspiration.

I’m pretty certain they said somewhere that their waltz took about three hours to ‘learn’ and I’m guessing it’s because rose doesnt really need to know the dance as she just follows giovanni. It definitely is her superpower in ballroom and more in hold dances like this

First she makes me cry with that waltz and then THIS. What do I even say about this? We saw the sensual side to Rose with this dance and I could not take my eyes off her! Her skill was so impressive, the chemistry was off the charts and the entire performance was something else. Best Argentine Tango I've seen on the show! Score - *11/10* This was to die for!!! Its by far one of the most beautiful dances I've ever seen on strictly, the setting, the mood, the costume, the music, the choreography!!! The frame was absolutely perfect, every single line was there, it had so much intent and emotion, even at the start when her hands were slowly getting closer to Giovanni it had definition and meaning. The ganchos were on a pro level and the leg kicking sequence at the end was magical! It really is such a dream to watch them perform they bring something to the floor that no other couple can bring! This was perfection, pointed feet all the way through, their bodies were totally in contact and connected it was really a work of art, I'm never going to forget this performance EVERRRR!!! THIS WILL LIVE ON IN STRICTLY HISTORY, GIO HAS TO FINALLY WIN, THEY HAVE TO WIN!!! 👑

Score: *10!!!!!!* I knew this was gonna be epic but DAMN ROSE PUT GIO IN HIS PLACE!!! The characterization that Gio had when Rose held his head and put it back in place. That was a 10 right there! There was so much embrace in hold from the beginning to the end. Ochos. sacadas. and ganchos was executed sultry and clean. The mood made the dance and the lift at the end was the cherry on top. HOT AND SEXY!!! LOVED IT!!!

Wow what a dance, I cannot stop watching it, every landing was perfect, what I call the 'Pendulum Swing' of Roses's legs staring at 1:19 is breathtaking, besides the fact that Rose is a brilliant dancer is her sense of humour, when Claudia asked her to describe this dance she said 'Passionate, Traditional and very,very close' she then has a little giggle and says 'Smelly Breath' .. priceless. Totally captivating and memorising from start to finish, or as my partner put it (a man of few words) hypnotic! I hope I'll be back here watching it in 20 years too :) The AT choreography from Leandro and Maria has been off the charts this series but they definitely saved the best to last. Last AT of the series, last dance of the night, and last dance of the semi-finals - wow, wow, wow! Can only imagine how electrifying it felt to be there live watching! This was truly sensational. The connection from start to finish and the atmosphere they created was electric. Obviously the footwork and leg action was great, but for me it’s the tiny details. Look at the way she places her hands on Gio at the beginning, the positioning of her fingers, the way she finishes her lines. Rose has turned in to a tremendous dancer, bravo!

I am not easily swayed. This, however, was a truly outstanding performance. Rose had already impressed me with her 'leap of faith' in their American Smooth where Giovani HAD to catch her, or she would hit the deck ! I had taken in the message from their Contemporary Dance, where the music went silent, to demonstrate the difficulties that Rose experienced throughout the competition, and it was still a lovely piece to watch. This Argentine Tango however, was a masterclass in how it should be done. The dress, the make-up, the hair, the mind set were all perfectly in place. A dark, sultry, jealously possessive entanglement between two lovers, who danced their hearts out to each other, regardless of anyone else. Two dancers, yet moving as one, so smoothly that one could truly believe. This was gorgeous to watch.

It’s unbelievable how Rose is pinpoint accuracy without being able to hear the music. I’d love to know how she’s achieving these dances. She says she counts but didn’t count on Saturday. Watching it at half speed, I think she reads Gio’s body at a slowed down speed - it’s amazing!!!!

I believe she may have just been following Giovanni's lead (like she always does) plus reading his body so she can feel the music or 'hear' it through him, and relying then on muscle memory alone for the steps and where to place them. Rose is a born dancer, but she just needed someone to be a guiding light for her to explore that world, even if only through a TV series. Giovanni was that guiding light she needed. Have to say, if Rose had come to the show much earlier and was paired with Giovanni, I'm not sure how he'd have handled having a deaf partner. As he's been on the show now for several years, he's learned (kind of) to tone down the ego or when to park it, although it has come out a few times with Rose.

The Argentine Tango of the series. Here are a few reasons why Giovanni should finally get his hands on the glitterball: 1. He made it to the final with Georgia May Foote who was the youngest, Debbie McGee who is the oldest and Faye Tozer. All of which danced very well and not one of them won, all runner up. 2. If Rose wins, not only will she become the first deaf actress to win Strictly but also the 3rd Eastenders actress to win Strictly after Jill Halfpenny and Kara Tointon. 3. Their week 8 Couples Choice is the first dance since Dani Harmer's Argentine Tango to have a section with absolutely no music and that was amazing. 4. They are also announced they will dance together in the Strictly Tour. They will probably win every tour if lucky, feeling another Kelvin Fletcher coming on. That was worth more than 10, in fact I would even give this dance an 11 out of 10. Go Rose and Giovanni, soon to be Strictly 2021 Winners!

I have an unhealthy obsession with this Argentine Tango. Love an Argentine Tango when it's done traditionally without the unnecessary lifts or show-off spins clinging to your partner's neck like your clinging to a lamppost in hurricane winds! This Argentine Tango would not be out of place in Buenos Aires. 😘 I don't think there are any superlatives to describe this dance, but this was foremost sensual but the undertone was passionately sexy. 🔥🔥
