Thank you, this was a really interesting video! We have 2 cats and I think, while it is widely thoght that cats just tolerate humans, I think, if you really put love and care into the human-pet relationship, a cat is a very trusting, open and friendly being. Ours just love hugs. But cats are so different, every one is so unique. Thanks again for digging into the cat history and telling us about the experiences in other countries, appreciate that!

My cat ran away when she was about 2 years old and lived in the wild for a year before she was found. She was born in hot Andalucia but lived alone in Cumbria, and even survived a cold winter with big snow! She has been totally healthy until recently. she is 16 now. Having said that, I don't think two of my other cats could catch anything even if their lives depended on it. My fourth cat, on the other hand, would def survive just fine.

The symbiosis between cat, dog, cow, goat and man seems to me less than incidental. Wild cat, hyena, gazelle, buffalo appear similar but attempts to domesticate them don't often succeed. I see in these relationships the attributes of an intelligent designer.

I believe that cats can survive almost anywhere, however, it would be a bit difficult to do so in big cities like Tokyo, because I bet there is less prey than in the countryside or a forest.

This "video" should of warned it's not a video but a recording. Some of us don't like this sort of thing. They made it look like a legit news segment of great interest, like a docu-series which tricked me onto here.
