I daydream everyday - in bed, at work, when I’m walking my dogs or when I’m driving and I would catch myself giggling because of the scenarios in my head I create. I write down the dialogues & events I come up with on my journal so I could go back and daydream about some of them again. Im wiser in my daydreams unlike in my real life where in I make a lot of mistakes. I love the feeling of creating a Finish/Ending for my daydreams.
@paladimeghana85136 ай бұрын
Wow! I found myself here 🙂. The difference is I don't giggle.
@frisSerenity6 ай бұрын
@@paladimeghana8513 even when you daydream about something fun or when you catch yourself daydreaming while in a busy place, like you just come out of your own little fun imaginary world? I daydream about things I didn’t do & couldn’t do to how I could do them so much better, so sometimes when I “wake up” from a daydream in a busy place I smile/giggle/grin at myself for being silly.. being aware again that the people around me have no idea I just stepped out from a daydream.

I think it's healthy to escape from reality. I find it therapeutic. What I'm hearing here sounds a bit extreme. It's better than not switchong off from mobile phones and social media.

Daydreaming can reveal the deepest desire and may lead to lifetime call or purpose. 500 years ago St Ignatius of Loyola discerned his daydreaming God's call. He observed daydreams may originate from God's spirit or evil spirit. The source can be identified by their after effects. Those accompanied by peace, joy, hope and charity are from God and they should be followed. Those accompanied by restlessness, anxiety and bad mood in general are from the evil spirit and be rejected. St Ignatius seems truly master than the experts in this broadcast.

Whatever it is, it is clearly a process of simulating the environment in the human brain, but we have very little control over the process or we are not conscious when we dream. But imagine if we could control our dreams and customize them. Who wants to wake up? I don't think there should be .

The culprit appears to be the Default Mode Network - which is also active during dreams/REM sleep! We have a video all about this 🧠😁

How could we get rid of maladaptive daydreaming? What if we couldn’t lead a normal life? Anyone knows? 😢
@jeanpearl17316 ай бұрын
My day dreaming used to be future oriented because it was not only gratifying but also the only eascape from my miserable life. Nowadays it is predominantly about the past, reliving the past events that hurt me and revisiting the decisions I regret making for which I hate myself.

As someone who used to daydream excessively, which affected my education, relationships, and connection with God, what saved me was building a deeper connection with God as a Muslim. I started contemplating God's words, which helped me realize my purpose. That doesn't mean I've completely stopped daydreaming, but it has significantly reduced. I'm improving day by day, and I believe anyone can do the same! Free Palestine 🇵🇸

Lucky for some of you have daydreams in a fantasy world... My dreams are all death chaos future. Loose period of time, un known. Full on dream while awake out side world completely gone and is like an entire horror movie plays in my vision... I idk what I look like what I am doing and how long, when it happens... It must only happens all in seconds... Or someone would have been able to see something is happening and it's probably not good... I think it's scary because an hour and a half experience in seconds... The horrible thing is that it was death of family members in the most horrible ways. Afterwards I felt loss, cry call my family members. My coworker's would be like what's wrong are you Okay... But would have say oh yea of course... And keep it to my self so I wouldn't appear a Nutter.
