I know of two women who experienced physical abuse at the hands of their husbands. In one case, the woman's father and brothers paid a visit to her (then) husband, beat the bleep out of him, forced him to sign an agreement to a divorce, gave him a one way bus ticket to the nearest big city, and then told him to leave town. He took the hint. The other case, the woman's two brothers & one tomboy sister paid a visit to their brother-in-law, worked him over, and warned him that if so much as one bruise ever showed up on their big sister again, he'd get it worse. They are still married, but he never laid a hand on her since. Kinetic justice.

this reminds me of a story about legendary pro wrestler andre the giant, once while in a bar a pair of douchebags came up and started mocking his size, I can't think why since Andre was over 7ft tall 450-500lbs with 11in wrists,(mine are only 8) biceps bigger than most peoples thighs, fingers so big he needed a pencil to dial a phone attached to hands the size of dinner plates, when Andre had had enough he got up and looked really mad, they ran for their lives, tried to drive away but Andre turned their car over onto its roof (yes he really was that strong), the police were called but by the time they arrived Andre had left leaving the two drunk men to explain to the skeptical cops that an angry giant had flipped their car over.

Imm1025 that reminds me of a story I heard about pro wrestler Andre the giant, once while at a bar two drunk guys came up to him and started making fun of his size, eventually he ran out of patience and in a rage chased them outside, they got into their car hoping to escape but andre turned their car over onto it's roof, by the time the police arrived andre and his friends were long gone and the police were needless to say sceptical of the two drunks rambling about how an angry giant flipped their car over.
