What is up with BB30A: The “A” is for Asymmetry

BB30A is an asymmetrical system that is 42mm x 73mm. BB30A is only found on three bikes, all of which are Cannondales: CAAD12, CAAD13, and the carbon Synapse. There are plenty of BB30 mountain bikes out there with frame BB shells measuring 42 x 73, but they are not asymmetrical, and so are NOT BB30A, and are referred to as BB30 MTB. Confused? Don’t be. I have a 2022 Cannondale Scalpel Carbon 3 which claims to have a Cannondale press-fit BB30a PF30 BB. Im running Cannonade HollowGram cranks. Would your BB fit this?

Yes, but it's not straight forward. We recommend sticking with the stock Si crank.
