我在大马的美企工作,我认为和我曾经做过的本地企业最大的分别是,他们不会理我有没有到公司上班,时间上都很宽松,只要我给到成绩,一切都ok。我的美国上司都很尊敬我作为一个员工,也给我充分的自由和work life balance。这些我都无法从本地企业或本地老板体会到的。

美国也是工作狂国家,跟影片里说得一样,美国并没有注重 work life balance。每次开会他们都是他们早上六、七点是时间。然后在他们时间晚上九、十点的时间还会 send email。我目前也是在美企,他们真的只看成果,过程完全不管,你有没有团队成长也不重要。没有个人提拔,领导也只看成绩。公司根本就是自私文化,能踩着你上位就根本毫不留情的踩,反正团队不重要,问多一句就在后面投诉你需要 spoon feed,金手指文化也很厉害。
本身是曾在malaysia US MNC和现在在singapore US MNC工作的电子工程师。特别赞同其中一位嘉宾说“文化”其实非常取决于你的直属上司是一位怎样的领导。 像我现在的公司, 我的team的老板是很讲究好的culture的,要在portfolio上足够aggreesive但也是在teamwork & team dynamic上面非常注重的,这样的文化下让我们为公司卖力得心甘情愿因为真的是觉得有被照顾到。 反之,在同一个公司里的另外一个team,那个老板就比较安于现状了也不为teamwork做出什么主动的贡献,让他的下属觉得与我们的team有很大的差异。 所以一个公司好的culture可能占30%的contributing factor to the actual culture you experienced, 70%还是需要看你的老板有没有主动的去做一些有益于团队的东西。 Pros & Cons after 4 years working in Singapore | 在新加坡工作的好处&坏处 kzbin.info/www/bejne/jYWqnGyGnMZ-i9U
Singapore is an interesting place. Many Singaporeans move overseas or aspire to do so, primarily to English speaking countries. And by Singaporeans I mean those born and bred and grew up in Singapore. Yet at the same time, many outsiders dream of coming to Singapore, or had already done so.

Gen z Singaporeans can't accept the workaholic lifestyle of Singapore... And their parents can afford to send them to European countries to study. After studying there they continue to stay there to work
我同意Gary the 说法。 美国公司很注重KPI。 员工福利也不好。没年尾花红。做不到, 就是Hire & Fire. 他们会很坦白跟你说if you cannot do it, then this job is not suitable for you。 我觉的还是日本,中国公司比较好一点。至少, 你帮公司拼,福利还不错。

I work in a local company with offices in SG and KL. A colleague who was transferred from KL office to SG commented that the work pace in SG is at least 30% more than KL.

@@simlim8156 You are not entirely wrong, but do you think those earning US dollars and UK pounds are only of the exchange rate. 1.1M out of the 1.8M Malaysians working overseas have chosen Singapore, I believe they are not stupid and are wise enough to make this decision.

Competitive environment would made country have pressing level to become more developed country. Somehow the culture of our Malaysia slow motion can reduce pressure of individual.
Hawker center is under goverment, only PR and SG citizen can do. So with such low pay, young people will not do. You go coffee shop, you see many malaysian cooking.
Thank you, BBK, for bringing up this topic. In my opinion, the 3X currency exchange rate makes it a great opportunity for the younger generation to gain valuable experience. However, in Singapore, it’s not about living luxuriously but just getting by.
薪资待遇来说马来西亚很多老板还是地主思维,不是资本思维,当然新加坡也有但比起马来西亚肯定少很多。 其次新加坡的公共交通比起马来西亚便利是肯定的,但是这个是基于新国的住户人口很集中。 治安的话其实我觉得在新加坡最容易被偷窃的应该是脚踏车,就算你上锁在cctv前,也还是有人偷,而且报警还是无法抓到的,因为我6个月内被偷了2架新脚车。by the way inspector 很尽责一直会follow up ,这个月刚好一年了他还是有inform我进展. 马来西亚的警察也有做事但就是不inform进展的。

Public Holiday 说实话我感觉除了大公司/政府部门,不然大部分的私人公司应该也是不会给到 20+ 的 Public Holidays (至少我自己在的中小企是这样啦)也就是给你12-14天,Annual 也是12-14天。 而通勤方面马来西亚真的是糟糕中的糟糕,我女友 830 上班,每天都要 7 点赶着驾车去 MRT Parking,不然迟点就没有车位,然后有车又不能 park 在公司附近因为一天下来就要 RM20-30。每天还要加班到凌晨。 马来西亚的工作环境没新加坡卷是事实,但我不觉得压力大很多很多,感觉因为那边冗员较少,而马来西亚的环境底下导致这些冗员可以无后顾之忧的继续摆烂,而新加坡的环境就已经 filtered 掉这些人了,马来西亚的中小企养不起这些人的我认为也是挺卷的。 所以 To me 至少我认为从付出正比上新加坡是比马来西亚好的啦🤣 但也有可能只是我那种外国的月亮比较圆的关系

@@JH-kv8mtepf 是没cap 的.. 同时epf average dividend 5.5-6%.. cpf oa is 2.5%, sa is 4%.. weighted interest is 3% 而已啊... 上班是一部分.. 日常生活又是另一部分.. 交通在不同时候扮演不同角色,如果有孩子或者生病时,汽车始终还是方便..看个人处于哪一个阶段....

For employees with salaries exceeding RM6,000 per month, the contribution amount is subject to the wage ceiling of RM6,000. When is this info of 3k can her EP? Now EP threshold is much higher like 5.6k. But I know some industry the threshold is lower because of professional firm cannot find minion in SG so they count on Malaysian to do these work 😅

A bunch of lies. Parliament has allow LTVP to work in hawker centre. The fact that a lot of elderly people are working is becos they don have enough monies in their CPF to cope with the cost of living.
