Started incorporating this method into my training and I had to stop by and give you a shoutout from one of your bboy Texas brothers out here in Arlington! This training builds endurance for bboying among many other benefits. 'Preciate the post.

On each exercise set (same exercise), I take about 15 to 20 secs in between rounds. I take about a 1 to 2 minute break between each new exercise (before I start a new exercise).

I took one of his strength workshops and I'm so glad I found this video. It's not the same stuff we did in the workshop, but I forgot a lot of the drills we learned. Hopefully this will help just the same. Love this guy, he's incredible!

Dope; I actually started using footwork/freeze drills as a pre-workout routine before doing weights kind of like this about a month after we met Huge thanks again for being a guest in one of my videos! -Germy

Thanks for the Bboy tips! Just wanna say with your pushups speed is great for when your perfoming but for a steady controlled stregnth when training throw in a mix of slow and controlled ups and downs. Helps the whole range of the muscle. Also with your right hand at 4:20 is pivoting/rocking on your wrist while your other hand is flat, try push ups with most of your weight on arm and alternate to gain stability and make sure your hand is flat to prevent pain developing

First tape I ever got my hands on (bboying), boty 2001, and you were by far the standout dancer on that thing. Plenty of stuff blew my mind, but you were just coming with stuff so tech, and different, and cleeeean. Monster then and still a monster today. Always had a love and appreciation for dance, and while I dabbled once upon a time, always been a bit of a lazy fucker. At 31, finally looking to get my flabby ass in shape. These drills are no joke. Hopefully before too long I'll be able to perform them somewhat proficiently. Appreciate the "stay movitvated" at the end. I need reminding. Peace, and thanks

Hi Bboy moy! I'm new to the footwork side of bboying and i tried to do this everyday. However these training drills take me a hella long time to do (40 mins?) and I get extremely tired afterwards. I can barely finish my power sets after :/ How should I be doing these basic footwork drills?
@jessicanisbet507410 жыл бұрын
Okay the drill at 3.40, I really don't understand that footwork! It looked easy enough..until i tried it and figured out its a complete mind eff for me! AHHH, it might sound silly but is there a KZbin tutorial on this step or if not can you make one?! haha hopefully i can figure it out when I train tonight. Awesome clip though, great for training!

Quick question, how long are you supposed to rest between each set?
@oabominavelsiridasneves19249 жыл бұрын
Jesus Ortiz i think 30 sec is fine, but, you can rest 45 sec or 1 min. you need to listen your body. some people get super tired with workouts, and they need to rest 2 min. it's all about you

@jbi63824 жыл бұрын
Just practice, practice and practice bro. U ll see, u ll feel u more Confirtable naturally. I was struggle with my handstand befire and one day, u don t know why, my body get how control it. Since, after practice Évry day, not à long time x sometimes, it just like 4 5 handstand on the day without any schedule or training session, I master it and it has offered me a lot of new possibility about my break. Next step : stop to smoke for my endurance
