The BBQ Daddy looks like it did a good job. Better than the brush, like you said you won't have to worry about the bristles falling out.

BBQ Daddy the hook is to flip your grates. The ice water is because the special sponge inside the pad is FIRM in cold water SOFT in warm water. See SCRUB DADDY comml to see what's inside. Nice job

A good no-nonesense review. Thank you for taking the time to show the features and do a realistic cleaning. I think I will try this product.

Did you know that you can use the hook to hook onto the grate and lift it up. That way you can clean the bottom, I know I’m late but thought I would let you know

Yep I knew that but didn’t think it worked good for that. Thanks for watching Connor

Now that it's been a year, how has the BBQ Daddy held up? Have you had to replace the head and if so how long do they last?
@DIYJIM Жыл бұрын
That’s a hard answer to give mine is still good but I don’t use it every week. It has started to rust a little.

Also flip the adjustable grip to use the straight edge scraper on a flat top griddle or you'd flat grate cast iron. No need to disassemble

Vinegar is what we used at night to break down the grease on the old McDonald's flat top grills. Circa. 1980s. We used the left over pickle juice per McD's Corporate which probably came from the stores.

I will have to try this. I use Weber Grill's Grate Cleaner spray, scrub then rinse the grates w/water & paper towels. To scrub I use a thick green scrubbing pad and a pad holder i.e. flat piece of plastic w/spikes and a handle. After rinsing I dry the grates w/a paper towel, spray their Grill Oil on the grates, and wipe the grates w/a clean towel to spread the oil everywhere. Kind of like caring for a cast iron skillet. I use Weber's exterior cleaner and if there is a tough stain they have a cleaner for that also. I bring my grates inside during our winters Jan & Feb. My Weber is seven years old and it looks brand new.
