Something I always wanted to know about frying whole prawns with their shell: what about the intestine? Doesn't that affect the taste? Don't I have to remove it before?

Loved the recipe Bart... I would slit and de-vein the prawn. This will give a cleaner sweeter end result and also the slit will allow some of the seasoning and sauce to penetrate the prawn and make it even more flavorful. :)

Eat the whole thing! The crunchy skin and the head are delicious too. Some think that the head is the most delicious part.

Lovely video, but please -PLEASE- tell me you didn't leave the head untouched? The insides of the head are soooo tasty and delicious, they're actually my favourite part!!

If you don't have a BBQ, could you use the oven to replicate the result?
@Beeensn7 жыл бұрын
Of course, just use a griddle pan. It'll be basically the same as in the video.

By any chance, do you have the name of the background music? EDIT: Nevermind, I got it. Stalling by Silent Partner.

But what's the point in spooning the sauce over the unpeeled prawns? I mean, it of course looks good, but besides that, wouldn't you have to scrape it off, peel the prawn and then put it back on? :D
