I fished in Ekuk 1981 for the Ball's. There were less set net sights then. F&G must have opened up some sites for sale/lease as the permits are highly regulated and very valuable. I learned a lot on that beach as well as prayed a lot over broken equipment since the Ball brother I worked for did not maintain his equipment or care much about how he was taught by Grandpa Ball. Life lesson "keep fixing it so it don't break!".

I made these today but after doing some research I opted to keep the head on. I also chose to fry in olive oil to maintain the health benefits. Feels more Mediterranean this way too.

I never buy cheap tins of Sardines as they are generally low quality, So I pay out for top quality Portuguese tinned Sardines in EVOO and they really do make the difference.
