@@AndersonsSmokeShow So I bought the gasket kit and installed it.. So. Much. Better. Thanks for that tip. I'm enjoying the smoker, but a tip for a future video maybe: it doesn't like the wind, and the Bluetooth is a but wonky. Both can make your smoker freeze and it won't actually be maintaining heat even tho it looks like it is. Also, what did you end up doing with the ribs you cut off? I got six of those things in my freezer and idk what to do with them.

Look good, seems like these use even more charcoal than gravity dearies, between your pit boss, gravity fed and, now this one, how do you rank them?
@AndersonsSmokeShow4 жыл бұрын
So this is a tough question.... but it would come down to the Pit Boss and the 560. They are both good for what they are intended for. I’d say the Pit Boss would win for 1 reason.... the size. I can make tons of food at once and that’s a great feature. I love to entertain, so having the ability to smoke an entire meal for an army is great! Now the Masterbuilt 1050 might be a great option because it almost doubled the size of the 560.

I’m close to pulling the trigger on one of these smokers just cause for the price it seems like a good deal..other than the charcoal basket warping do you have any other major complaints about it? Would you buy again?
@AndersonsSmokeShow4 жыл бұрын
So here is the thing.... The smoker has made great food so far, and its pretty easy and foolproof... But the low price of $350 really reflects with the build quality. I think Masterbuilt dropped the ball by not making this a double walled cabinet. It leaks quite a bit of smoke from the seams, and the cabinet door isn't sealed. Even after adding a seal it still leaks, and thats mostly due to the fact that you can't make the door too tight or else you will buckle the side wall of the cabinet. The thin steel is flimsy and cheap, but it makes good food and is only $350. When you compare it to other charcoal options in that price range I don't think its too bad of a deal, but I think there is more value in getting a Gravity Series over this.
