It's great to see you and your husband in a video together. I always enjoyed working in the kitchen with my husband. The membrane on ribs is a pain in the backside to get off. Sometimes, you can peel it right up, and other times, you have to get it a little at a time. It's aggravating at best. Hope to see your husband working with you in more videos.😊

It was a struggle for sure, I always get it started with knife and then grab it with paper towel. I did it see the recipes in the description. As I mentioned to other YT cooks, still shot recipe in your video, I can pause if need be. Thanks for the content.

Hi Lynne. I always grab the membrane using the paper towel. You can get hold of it better. Yummmmmm to the ribs!
@lgougeinthekitchenАй бұрын
Good tip! I tried that it has worked sometimes in the past. But these were stubborn!!!
@MissMerrilooАй бұрын
I watched this last night and got the biggest chuckle! Laughed when you started at the other end of the rib to try and get that stubborn membrane off. Reminded me of when my husband helps. In my case It could go good or the opposite. He could throw up his hands and say do you want my help or not lol It was a great video! Honestly when I do ribs hes not around so I leave the darn membrane on. Alot of people do according to Google .

Such a Gentleman Husband Your’s is Lynne! I gave our big green egg to my brother few years ago. Replaced with Argentinian grill, & I’ve a kettle grill(I’m the Grill master here as my Husband tends to overcook :/ ) Missed several days of videos due to Francine & catching up now

I used to grill on the gas grill all the time then we moved everything to the pool which was on the other side of the yard from the kitchen and now we have moved to another house and have not renovated everything yet and planning on a back porch where I can grill quickly and also hoping for a complete outdoor kitchen. But we will see how money holds out 😋😋

@@lgougeinthekitchen gas grill like propane tank or natural gas line to previous Home? Grilling is so nice I agree Lynne. Moved to ‘The Country’ from New Orleans(just an hour north)10 years ago & no, we’ve not done ‘all’ renovations either. That’s how to stay clear of debt :) 1st We did was whole house generator w/500 gallon buried propane tank=worthy investment that’s for sure

I don't know the name of the tool but I will try to explain them so you will be able to find them. The tool is used to pull the skin off of fish mainly catfish is what I used them for. The tool reminds me of long needle nose pliers, they have ridges on the inside part of the pliers to grab ahold of the fish skin. If you can find them I'm pretty sure they would work to remove that membrane from the ribs. Good luck. Newly subscribed

I will try to google them and see what I come up with. Thanks for the tip and thanks for subscribing!!!

Nothing. You just remove it when they are done. It’s just tough and doesn’t serve a purpose so it’s best if you can remove it prior but no big deal.
