My gosh! Is Lucilles still there?! I’m from Torrance and remember when it opened! Also when the Del Amo mall opened! Magic Chef, Sears, The Broadway… plus all the other stores. Dickey's was started here in Dallas. The original still stands at 75/Knox-Henderson, used to go there quite a bit as a kid..

That biscuit looked so good Love the whipped apple butter spread. The barbecue sandwich looked very juicy. We love trying our BBQ first without the sauce to really capture the seasoning then add the sauce on the next bite. Loving the brioche bun and the slaw. Wow love pulled pork . We so enjoy watching your adventures. Our favourite travel spots are Vegas and Hawaii so that seems to be your GO-TO places as well. The Cal is one of our favourite casinos in Vegas. It reminds us so much of Hawaii. Next time you are at the Cal check out The Redwood Bar & Grill - the best prime rib ever! They also have a happy hour. Also at the Cal on the second floor is Ethel M's chocolates.

I really liked the BBQ but I have to admit I was most envious of Quality Seafood. Estrella Jalisco, Clam Strips and a beautiful view. What more can you ask for. You two are the best. Another amazing video.

I wish you guys could come to North Carolina and do a BBQ crawl! in case you don't know what that is it is it is to visit all the different barbecue places throughout the state. You would so love it. Lisa when I saw you mixing your baked beans with the mac and cheese I know you would love what they call in North Carolina a BBQ parfait. It is pulled pork barbecue, mac and cheese, baked beans, and coleslaw all packed in a big cup. Yeah and it's that good!!!!!!!!!

True on the bbq, Steve! There are some decent Japanese eats in Torrance. But can recommend one in Gardena, Azuma. They have some history, been there for a long time and serve some pretty legit menu items.

Lucille's pulled pork looked good, if it only had the Dickey's bbq sauce on it. The brisket looks a bit juicier and a bit fattier at Dickey's (again, I won't know till I try it!). Great video as always! When are you guys heading back to Vegas again?

You guys love bbq shootouts! I do too! Have you ever tried Dr. Hogly Wogly’s Tyler Texas BBQ in Van Nuys? It’s fantastic! It’s a local establishment. It would be awesome to see it go up against Slab BBQ in LA off of 3rd and crescent heights and also Bludsos off LA brea and melrose. All excellent BBQ choices.

He uses american wagyu for the brisket and kurobuta for the pull pork. That is my second favorite after Franklin's in Austin🙂. The owner is usually there in the mornings around 9-10 am He is a very nice guy

Price point wise Dickey’s. I haven’t tried Lucille’s. There is a Dickey’s in Kapolei, HI. Haven’t tried that location but in CA, I didn’t like it too much. Everything was dry but I’ll give it another try.

Yeah, it should be Lucille's. You had to get extras just to make a sandwich match. In a time/money pinch, Dickey's seems like a good choice
