Love it! We are from CT. My father moved to pensacola FL 10 years ago and opened a restaurant he put Po Boy's on the menu after the customers told him about them. His thinking at first was burgers, dogs, steak sandwiches etc. 95% of his customers wanted these or seafood baskets. Give em what they are hungry for lol. Great video!

Get a Louisiana hot sauce, but something thick not vinegary (no Tabasco), and mix about 60/40 with yellow mustard. Allow your shrimp to marinate in that overnight before you fry. I live in Baton Rouge, eat it all the time. Great.

btw corn meal is much more coarse than standard corn flour, perhaps too coarse for the breading in this recipe. The whole grain corn flour we used gives ya the crunch that most are looking for in their seafood fry.. -BBQ Pit Boys

Great stuff! Just thought I'd share this, but if you don't have butter, you can get by with some garlic aioli... and maybe touch it up with some cayenne pepper. Also, nice touch with the turntable at the end... a beauty like that deserves to be viewed from all angles!

awesome as always but guys i found that saving the breading and dry them then grind them and use them for fry coating is great and make what ever you fry more crispy and yummy

I just made some grilled chicken seasoned with pepper, season salt, onion/garlic powder, and cumin, then topped with mozzarella cheese and placed between two pieces of garlic beard. It was good, also a good idea of me to use the mozzarella since it helped balance all the flavor out being a very mild cheese.

its simply a matter of how FINE the corn is ground up into... corn flour is finer then meal... meal has texture/ganulars.... where as flour is more fluffy/like powder... much the same as regular baking flour.... all depends on what you plan to do with it that's matters on the END RUN!
