Pretty much. They were just designed around multiplayer and that is why No heart has lower stats in 2.5(though armor of the master is appearently the same strangely enough)

Man this reminds me of the time me and my cousins play BBS multiplayer a lot and at some point take turns losing at command board so the others can rank up. Was wishing we did that with Final Mix and take on the FM bosses though but base English version was still fun
