BBT Convoy 2024 to Bad Camberg! Drive on the Autobahn and German Country Roads!
The BBT Convoy has become a regular pre-event of the two major Treffens, Bad Camberg and HO. The team of BBT (one of the largest air-cooled VW businesses in Europe) leads the way, followed by so many air-cooled VWs. The caravan starts from BBT and heads to Bad Camberg on Thursday. The participants come from all over Europe. BBT will serve as a pit stop as well as a relay point and will be available for maintenance work. Many participants drive 1000 km, and BBT represents a “reassuring” final checkpoint before Bad Camberg.
The day before the BBT Convoy, the company hosts an open house party, where VW freaks from all over the world deepen their friendships all through the night.

That semiphore popping out of the split window right around 10:00 into the video and again at 12:54, and at 40:40, and then, 48:28, was SO FREAKIN AWESOME!!!! Here in the US, the automakers never used semiphores. Semiphores were for trains. Thus, many, many Americans have no clue what these are. For the first time in my entire VW life, I now have a video where i can show my clueless American friends how the semiphore worked. Thank you so much. EDIT: If a person was to travel there, how well could he/she get along whit only English? I only know one phrase in German - Wie geht es dir? Finally, someone please tell me the starting point of this convoy. I would like to look at the route on Google Maps.

I want to know this as well. I wonder if i would be welcomed if I brought my Meyers Manx over from the US to join in on the convoy? The reason I ask is that there is a huge beach buggy rally in Britain in the summer with several hundred Manx style buggies that do a parade in Swanage in England during the summer months. I'm not certain of the date. For years, I've wanted to take my buggy to England, attend this event and then I would have the rest of the time and money invested in a trip across the pond to see Europe. ... in my buggy.
