BC CANADA!! This mountain had more to offer than just an abandoned mine!

Todays exploration takes us up a mountain in search of an abandoned mine, but in the end found way more than just that!

A buddy of mine had a bunch of out buildings and a huge old barn all which had the weathered grey wood we spent a few months and took everything apart and he was going to burn it all but I talked him out of it so we denailed all the wood with my buddy cursing me the whole time saying I can't believe that I am doing this etc etc, Well I was on an Ocean Research Vessel and I had to go to work and we were gone for 10 weeks and when I got back my buddy picked me up and he handed me an envelope with $2500 dollars in it and he says that those people in Vancouver have more money than brains lol he had gotten around $15,000.oo for all the wood and just seeing you looking at the old store brought that memory back and that there are people out there who want there new stuff to look old. Really enjoy watching you guys exploring a part of BC that I can't get to. But I have lots in my area Im in the mountains behind Shawnigan Lake near the Kinsol Trestle. Cheers

Well here's a funny one for you! I work in a millwork shop that buys, machines and sells reclaim lumber. The company I work for has been doing it for about 17 years. I made multiple tables for my wife Carmen out of reclaim. It is such a neat wood to work with and can do so much with it all the while preserving a piece of history! The Kinsol trestle is very much like the Myra Canyon trestles we have here. If you ever make it out this way its a must see! Again, thank you for continuing to watch our channel!
