Interesting choice of colors on the guitar that captures the 80s hair band glam. It was a great period in life where guitars ruled the music scene, and guys hair were just as big and long like the chicks, also not to mention the makeup guys wore. LOL!!! Great project Dane!!! That guitar should find a home in someone's collection.

Really enjoyed that. Those Dimarzio’s seem to have had a lot of fire left in them. Bet they were good old faithful super distortions! Everything popped on that guitty! From the paint to the pups. Excellent work all the way around! Cheers!

Maybe the neck but the bridge had screw & slug pole pieces which the SD don't have.

Very cool bud, great score on the Dimarzio's. I once picked up an Ibanez Destroyer which sounded amazing. While doing a string change I popped the pickups out to see what they were & was pleased to find a Slash set of Seymour Duncan's. They were worth what i paid for the guitar alone. 😊

you should get red-orange springs to match the knobs. that would look sick since you're going no back plate
@Chad_Fuckhammer2 жыл бұрын
and go over the white BC Rich logo with a red-orange paint pen. and then find or make a light purple truss rod cover for it. those three minor mods would really make that thing a stunner

I had an old warlock. It had a zero fret.. does anyone ever know if it was a standard build and what series. It did not have a floyd rose but had a tremolo ststem that was bulit to compete with the floyd rose type system.. i forgot who made the tremelo system. But the zero fret made that warlock play so easily like I was cutting butter with a hot kinfe. The pickups were standard.. it souned great with a pro co ratt and an old 30 watt amp. So easy and comfortable to play and my fingers would not get all tired from pressing and holding chords for a whole set of songs..

BC Rich NJ Series used to be awesome when they were still being made in Japan. But when they moved to Korea they went shit.
