very nicely done,by someon well acquainted with the area. Lots of legwork here. I rode Royal Hudson excursions few times in the late 70s and 80s. some of the footage is from a fantrip but I still found it highly enjoyable. Wish those who submitted it had added a music track. A solid 10.

I was in Vancouver with my late parents on August 28, 1974--that fell on a Wednesday! I only remember seeing an episode of Jeopardy (before Alex Trebek's version), followed by two innings of a Montreal Expos game which they unfortunately lost. Sorry that I would not remember this train until now!

Thanks for commenting Martin. 1974 was very early days for this run. I remember that summer well too - lots of trips over to the mainland to photograph what was at that time the largest steam locomotive to run in this area in many years.
