Big Country's last ever gig on US soil, The Sutler, Nashville, July 9, 1999.
Using borrowed equipment, BC put together at short notice this gig while they were in the US filming the video for 'Fragile Thing'. Those lucky enough to be in attendance were in for a treat.

Stuart's Granny died when he was young . This affected him a lot as his dad was away a lot at sea. His granny sorted of reared Stuart.

I take great offense to your statement that Stuart Adamson "darank himself to death"!!! The man has for a very LONG time suffered severe Clinical Depression. Unfortunately he grew up in a "drinking" or "pub" culture" and he self-medicated with alcohol (making him more numb than miserable), a shame since alcohol itself is a DEPRESSANT! EDUCATE don't speak of the dead as if they're WEAK!!!

Ok...he refers to Zanies...it's a comedy club here in Nashvegas for those that don't know. It's on 8th avenue south. Though no matter how much Stuart was a Scot, he did live here in Nashvegas TN for a time before he drank himself to death
