Statement win this was. Wrexham are one of the better teams in the league, and Blues have put them away well. Once the squad has nine or ten games together under their belts, I think they'll take some beating. It's all there, fitness, tactics, belief, squad depth (pretty much), and off the pitch there is support from the stands, smart investment from the owners, money coming in from all over the place. And the best bit? This is just the start.

Me too! May 1961 and lived in Small Heath in my formative years. Still following The Blues and last night they were absolutely superb! I mean that. From front to back, I could not fault them. Yes, Wrexham were very good first 20 minutes or so but ran out of energy (and ideas too!) and Blues bossed the rest. I've said it before, the only the thing Da Vile had over The Blues was ambition - The Blues have that now and confidence in spades. This is looking VERY good - the End Of The Road might be closer than we think! 💙💙

Great result & good performance, far more solid. I wonder how much better this team will be by December when they've gelled properly? Goalkeeper worries me a bit, seems to cost us a goal per match, so is it worth trying Allsop?. I thought Wrexham would offer more & test us TBH. We've still got some good teams to face, Huddersfield & Stockport may offer a better gauge to our progression, but an excellent start after 5 matches.

Quite surprised how direct Wrexham were and not as impressed as the previous two sides that we have played in the league at home so far. The referee made two mistakes by one not taking charge of the situation when the two players were on the floor before the melee and as much as I don’t like Maclean, he should have been made to walk off across the pitch and not around it as it could have caused some serious crowd trouble

Great result this was… a much needed win & we are still a game in hand! Wrexham are always dangerous from set pieces so we looked a bit shaky from the start but I thought after that we really got a grip of the game and played some outstanding football… I don’t think anyone else in this league is near us when it comes to actual football being played. I thought Paik & Iwata looked very comfortable in the middle they compliment each other very well… Stansfield… now what can I say great player bagging two goals great to see it. But very happy with this result you blue boys!! The stadium looked lively & I think if we can get a lot turning up like that for games we will be just fine can’t wait to see how the rest of the season unfolds… KRO & UTFB💙🤍
