Having started playing FM around 4-5 years ago, it has completely pulled me away from FIFA/EAFC just because there is so much more care and detail put in to creating the games. Far better imo - would be the absolute best if you could physically play the matches like in FIFA

I like both they both have stuff I like such as how fm is actually realistic and you can interact with the board and ask them for different stuff like expanding the stadium but I like to play the games on career mode

Anyone who has never played FM , yes it’s intimidating when you first start playing and there’s a learning curve but once you get the hang of it you’ll never go back to fifa/ea. There’s a ton of KZbinrs out there that are great to help you learn and the community is levels above the community with EA. I have 1200 hours in FM16, 4300 hours in FM17, only 500 in FM18, 2100 in FM22, 1500 in FM23, and about 700 in FM24. It’s become an obsession

I started playing FM21 on mobile (touch), I was a noob yet I played it so much. I was York and won the Champion league with them before the save ended (Thanks dad). In FM22 I got it on Xbox but didn’t play much. In FM23 I started a career on my Computer for the first time, I made a save and it was pretty good! But in FM24 I’ve played loads!

I've played FM for the last 20+ years, but these days it's just way too detailed and time consuming (i'm 37 now), so i find FM Touch on the Nintendo Switch a great way of still enjoying it without as much detail.. And it's still light years ahead of Career Mode! The FC Devs have absolutely no idea what they're doing..

I’ve played on both FM24 and touch version but haven’t seen the console version so I’m not sure which one is for the Switch or if Touch and Console has any differences. but all Touch version is the same but hardware limitations will affect gaming performance (my phone can only handle 5 leagues and hard limits the player count)

I'm a newly hooked FM addict and I gotta say if you love football and you love career mode you WILL love FM. I started a few saves before really getting lost in one, eventually falling in love with my save in the Dutch 4th tier with Sportlust 46 (mods, not complicated at all to install though!!) which is fully amateur meaning we had no money and could only sign players who were willing to play for no money. I'm on my 4th season now, no longer with Sportlust but now with Roda JC in the dutch 2nd tier. Took Sportlust up to the 3rd tier and found it incredibly frustrating dealing with Jong AZ and Jong Sparta Rotterdam who were down there with a bunch of wonderkids while we were broke and struggling. Currently embarking on building Roda into a force in my first professional job.

They have the Gibraltar league, but still can't have the USL ffs (USA 2nd tier). It doesn't directly promote into MLS and is essentially a separate standalone league, which is prob why it's not there, but as a Riverhounds fan it's frustrating to be able to play as like Braintree Town or something but not the Riverhounds. I have, however, done a save with them through mods on FM23 - the mods put USA into a pro-rel style setup, Riverhounds started in tier 3 (even though we're tier 2 in real life - the tiers were made smaller by the modder) but like how is that not an option in the actual game?

I would watch Zealand’s tutorial and play in the prem or in the French league as a team contending with PSG to start out. At first it’s intimidating but once you get the hang it’s pretty fun. Also download a skin from somewhere like FM Base to make the game look better and add an instant result button so you can skip some games if you don’t want to play them

I'm Italian, but often i see your videos and i think that you will enjoy the change to football manager❤ For have the regens faces there are little features similar to mods and skins that you can download and use. I literally can't go back to playing any Soccer/football game now because FM is everything I've ever wanted in a game like that. And the graphics/gameplay engine is only going to keep getting more realistic as the years go on. No point in playing Fifa when it plays worse than Fifa 06/07 ( best Fifa games) did.

You can delegate a lot of stuff and just focus on the ones you enjoy, like transfers and tactics. A lot of things in the game aren’t necessary as well, and are there just for more immersion. If you delegate most of the non important stuff and focus on fun stuff like signing and tactics, you’ll see it’s quite a simple game and very rewarding building a team from the ground up.
