Honestly extremely smart for a tourism pitch. Make what the people coming to the town for free and enjoyable/high quality and their stay will help fund it with hotels, food, other leisure. The park looks awesome.

That bailout Yuka did when she crashed was a perfect example of why I use flats. She was able to get her feet off the pedals and land basically on her feet. Nice save Yuka! Bad timing on your partner but you recovered pretty well. Again I love flats. I have been saved so many times by getting my feet off the pedals instantly.

This is awesome. Giving a hand to people who decided to made a town into a sport mecca by giving free access to a sport ressource. This is priceless. As a trainer and sport event organizer this brought tears to my eyes. Awesome video. Kudos to all the people in Valemont and keep the flame alive.

Honestly, I think this is one of my fav BCPOV (VGY) vids. Always appreciate the mental hurdles you both overcome returning to features, but this one just felt like it was a more interactive stream. Yuka laying down in the forest, waiting for the gnomes to rub her tummy....which is the most painful vs a balls smash, apparently...lol. Awesome share, Eric, great times were had and enjoyed! If you ever find yourself back down in Portland, we opened a newish bike park right in the middle of east Portland called gateway green that's free and surprisingly good. It's made my life so much better. I finally have something easy to access. No more excuses to not be physical for me, it's right there.

@@BCpov You might be thinking of lumberyard. It's actually still open but they're closing down in fall which sucks. It was our only indoor place which was awesome during our rainy winters. Still, beggars can't be choosers and this out door park is an awesome, free community spot.

I love the narrative of your videos. You are a great storyteller. There is no shortage of videos on the trails in your region, but I still catch all of your videos because they are unique. Valemount was incredible!! Made it up for the weekend, and even camped at the top of canoe mountain. Even got a surprise firework show form some guys in quads who drove up at night to give the town a show. Absolutely amazing weekend, and the people at valemount are the best

I miss being young, and in shape when I used to ride mountain bikes in the 90's. The most I ever did was a Lake Tahoe ski resort in the summer where you take your bike up the ski lift and go down the. mountain.
