715 cost $1,750 in 1990. The attachments are expensive. I have had a 715 for 25 years. Great homeowner tractor!

I just bought one of these that has been sitting out for years. The PTO didn't seem to be in the mood to come out of gear. Can I take the top cover off and access the slide coupler and shift forks? From what little I've been able to come up with,is that the engine will need to come off and rebuild or re bearing the cone clutch. Thanks for any advice on going thru this transmission that you found and could pass along to me before I tear into mine. I've lusted for one of these machines for decades , and I wanna make sure everything is in good shape inside before it's new life sentence of hard labor starts. Like one bad bearing can throw off a set of gears and cost bunches of $$$$$$ of machining new stuff that less than $10 would prevent.

Joel, with EarthToolsKY can hook anyone up with BCS parts pretty quick typically. He is the primary importer for all things BCS. he also has a large service shop, and videos on the BCS products. good luck. @@MattShaughnessy6
