Dan is a UK resident and musician and reactor, who saw Tori doing a Carpenter's short, and like the rest of us, immediately gravitated to her voice. He contacted her with an idea to do a cover of Impossible by Perry Como, which Karen Carpenter did one verse of in a Como special. She told him she loved that song, but couldn't find a backing track in her key. So Dan made one, she covered the whole song, with Dan's help, and the collab started.

BD, the video is zoomed and off center! The music video. Edit: Great reaction, of course Dan made sure Tori was the star. It was produced as a music video which entails what you noticed. It fooled me at first as I used to run 35mm projectors with sync audio and film. So I could usually spot sync. Exceptionally well done. Dan is a producer/singer/writer/musician based in the UK. In an April he made two mini-docs on Tori when he discovered her on KZbin. She saw them and thanked him for his kind words. Later he saw a Carpenters appearance on a Perry Como Christmas special. They did a medley where each sang the others hits. This had Karen sing one verse of It’s Impossible. Dan pondered what it might have been like if Karen had sung the entire song. So he did what anyone would do. He recorded a piano track in Karen’s key and sent it to Tori. She responded and said it was one of her favorite songs but couldn’t find music in her key. It was a man’s hit. With that the collaboration started. You just saw part 2. The first one was It’s Impossible, with a what if performance… Joe Happy New Year!
