Kratos had a brother named Deimos, he is shown in ghost of Sparta. Deimos was born with a birthmark which is that of Kratos' tattoo that goes around his whole body (kratos got deimos' birthmark tattooed to himself as a tribute to his brother whom he thought died after ares basically kidnapped him) [deimos has white skin also but i dont know if he is cursed like kratos it isnt explained] you can read up on it on the god of war wikia

Another point is - well, anyone remember back in God of War 1 if you figure out the Easter Egg Telephone Number, you get a message from Kratos, telling you that Ares' soul was trapped in a Vault somewhere on Olympus? Well - when Zeus Mentioned "The Other One", I thought he might've been referring to Ares. I really thought that Ares was going to appear in this game - possibly as the True Final Boss. But, I guess the line was referring to Kratos' actual brother.

Not only that, but Kratos could have reversed this whole scheme. If he had the power to control time, he could have just gone back in time and stopped himself from killing his family and having to destroy Ares.

DLS Tekno I hate to be That Guy, but that is a fairly large hole in the plot. It's overlooked even by Kratos, but on a positive note, it is proof of his blind rage and irrationality on destroying Zeus and the Gods.

Kratos' sights were on his wife and daughter in GoW I, and after learning that he couldn't have his nightmares taken away or forgiven, he grew to hate the gods, and when Zeus betrayed him, his shortsighted rage was targeted towards him, blinding him to every other option other than absolute annihilation of the gods.

Okay - was I the only one who was REALLY pissed off by this part of the game? 1st - Kratos has done nothing but kill Gods the entire game...why did he think he NEEDED to get that power? 2nd - The very idea that Pandora dies, and the box is EMPTY! That's just...depressing even for this franchise. I mean - I really liked how Kratos came to love Pandora, like a daughter. It's not fair that now he still has nothing to show for this. His vengeance just consumes him completely!
