Thanks for this comment mate, we complained about Bennett yesterday in a live on insta and we said he is a good Player, but he needs to be a bit more quite. I mean you playin 80 or so in average and celebrate a 140 or sth

Completely agree, I’ve heard this from multiple times from different players regarding ‘boom boom’ attitude spits his dummy out when he loses, his family need to sit him down and explain how to take it on the chin

100% correct. I know he's 13 so some big celebrations are expected but most of his celebrations do go over the top. Also there are videos of him not shaking chalkers hands. To be fair though Leighton may calm down abit when he gets older and maturer.

Having watched Leighton Bennett he would do better if he remained focussed on his game rather than on how he looks performing his 'Gerwyn Price' antics and showing courtesy to those around you costs nothing,being 13 is no excuse for ignorant behaviour. The BDO provide an opportunity for darts players who want to play competitively but who either don't meet PDC criteria or play for the love of the game,we can't knock them for that surely?

The young lad has annoying reactions but he is a young lad!! We all made silly mistakes at that age, it's just Leightons are on tele, can you imagine having everything you done at that age broadcast on tv, he will learn like everyone else does, he has good guidance he will grow so give him a break he gets excited because hes a freaking teenager an all teenagers are different, hes making his dream.come true so good on him! Also you see a lot of inappropriate reactions in darts so look what hes had to learn from in recent years, mvg price. It's also how some players fire themselves up to perform so we might find it annoying but they are doing what they know works for them, were all talkin about him so I say fairplay, you keep being you Leighton you will learn as you grow ;)

Thx for sharing. Three tips for future vids... would be better if you mic’d up with an inexpensive lav mic, raise your tripod so it’s more of an eye level angle and close down your aperture / raise ur iso to stop focus drifting 👍🏻

Well said Martin and others he does need to grow up quick. Just cause his got mentores by professionals not naming but people know who they are. I know there are better youngers who play in junior league etc who just get on with it enjoy it no dodgy attitude regardless how old or young they are. He lost 3 0 in his final and walked off like a baby proper arrogant.

Martin Adams is correct but let's face it Leighton doesn't lose very often and he will learn with experience. BUT. Are you kidding me? 14 year old Leighton Bennett comes from a great family and is well liked. Less suited to the BDO with the more subdued crowd but in the PDC he is going to rule Get your money on him now.
