Writing books (have already several e-published and one published - but that doesn't bring me any sustainable money, as my audience is in the CIS countries and writers aren't paid much there), and now - YT channel, which I plan to turn into a traffic source for my #2 business of online courses. Currently, for my 1st business (IT software development company), I do all the bookeeping myself (with my co-counder) and I feel that when we grow we'll need to hire a local a bookkeeper among other staff like HR and sales. I also completed courses in bookkeeping, but I feel that learning from a classroom vs real world might be way different. I am ACCA finalist, passed 8 papers and got two achievements from ACCA. I have been working as bookkeeper for an accountant company for two years. I'm thinking about becoming a Bookkeeper. I have no previous experience. I'm not sure if I should pay to take a course and try to find a job in my area to get experience first. Or take a start a home based business course and learn everything there and try to start a business from scratch with no real world experience.

People have done it both ways! It worked best for me to take some online QB classes, then work a little for clients for free, and learn as I go. You'll never feel like you "know it all" so don't be afraid to just get started. Good luck!

On average how many clients do you have at a time ? Or start off with I was always interested in starting my own business but I never really knew what I wanted it to be about i decided not to go through with baking because i know it’s a 50/50 chance but now that I found a career that can be done from home I find this extremely interesting thanks so much for sharing your knowledge!

Hi! It obviously varies depending on client size, but I worked 2 days a week with 7 clients (1 large, 4 medium and 2 small). I have a video coming up on this exact topic, so stay tuned.
