The bullying issue is so bad, it explodes to front page news every single day.
Unfortunately, the bullies in school today do not cease to exist when leaving school but become the bullies at work and on the highway tomorrow. It’s estimated that 1 out of 4 elementary-school bullies will have a criminal record by the time they are 30.
Most people are aware of the critical problem existing in bullying, both emotionally and physically, but many people when seeing an article or watching a film regarding bullying will think “oh that’s not relevant to me” or “that’s them, I’m not like that, I’m against those brutal acts”. But is it really not relevant to you?
The goal of this film is to connect with everyone - as in for those who bully to want to stop, for the bystander to want to stand up and reach out and for the people who are neither to want to bring up awareness to the situation.

As someone who went through 15 years of bullying, I can give anyone who's being bullied this advice. The bullies opinion of you does NOT matter. They don't know you. THEY are the ugly ones, not you. Ugly is something that builds up inside you. It's mean, it hurts,.Every day you wake up in the morning, you gotta make a decision. Ask yourself every morning " Am I going to believe all of those bad things those fools say about me today?" Go to the mirror and repeat this question again and again and answer "No! No, I'm Not going to believe them! I refuse to!" Do this everyday and you will get through it. I promise. It won't be easy, but just hold on.

You did the right thing. I didn't tell my parents cos I was afraid. I can't count the times I almost committed suicide because of the bullying. The one and only thing that stopped me every time was my family. I didn't want them to suffer because I gave up and I didn't want to throw away my life because of what some ignorant, cowardly, and truly "ugly" girls thought and said about me.

I almost cried, till the end. Every case of bullying should end the same way. Unfortunately, it doesn't. We all have to be the ones who stand up for others. You can't just sit there and think *oh, someone else will help* NO, IT SHOULD BE YOU. No matter how hard it might be, you should do what's right. Too many people commit suicide because of bullying, and whether you see it happen on real life, or online, try to put a stop to it, any way you can.

Even if there is a zero-tolerance against bullying at different schools, the bullies will still find a way to bully their target. I was a victim of endless bullying, starting in the 3rd grade all the way through my senior year in high school and beyond. I was bullied in the workplace by supervisors and co-workers. The bullying only ended, when I was forced to retire due being diagnosed with interstitial lung disease. I battled depression for 18 months in 1993&1994. I was non suicidal just sad.

In the nursing home I live in one of my nurses are being bullied, and have been bullied myself in school I stick up for her, stand by her and have reported the bully, also a resident to management. Sad it still happens at this stage of our lives. 😭😭😢 Ps. She was blaming this nurse for reporting her, which the nurse has every right to. It wasn't the nurse, it was me and I told her that last night. Her response was "you got me in big trouble I'm going to lose everything". I answered with "no it's you who caused yourself to be in trouble by using your mouth. I told her I won't let her bully me or anyone else". She walked away. STAND UP TO BULLIES. they won't continue bullying if we take a stand against it, and let them know they're NOT getting away with it.

The zero tolerance policy is a very stupid policy, students should have the rights to defend themselves if they ever feel threatened by bullies. There have been parents that were complaining about the zero tolerance policy as they allow their children to use self-defense to protect themselves.

I watch all of these videos and get depressed because i git bullied for wearing a brace, to being a bookworm just everything about me. I nevrr thought about sucicide but i never stood up for myself, i let it happen. Now i moved i won't deal with it, i let my anger out on them.
