It really breaks my heart to see this kind of thoughtlessness. How encouraging it is, though, to discover a group like Public Land Stewards. I would love to get involved on a more national level. I could envision traveling around the U.S. camping, and joining clean-ups in various areas. Positive Vibrations

Every time I go into the China Hat area from the northside, my heart sinks a little bit. As soon as you pass the golf course, it's just mounds and mounds of trash everywhere until you actually get back there where the riff raff won't go. Sadly I won't be in state this weekend, but I wish you all the best in this clean up effort. Thanks for taking the initiative here!

It is a cultural change that needs to happen. Look at the street trash in the cities. If it is allowed with government authority and enforcement driving by and ignoring or tolerating it then people have less hesitation trashing public land that has even less enforcement and oversight. Sadly this isn't the first time you have shown trash sites, good work and thank you.

It's all homeless people off that road. You should help bring those agencies on board too. I know the city wanted to rehab that old motel into shelter, but I think it fell through. Just a huge problem for everyone.

Down here in Central California we have lost half a million acres of Public Access to BLM land. It all used to be open to offroading, camping and hunting. New Idrea/clear Creek area, approx 60 miles south of Hollister, CA in the San Benito mountains. It used to be a major mining area. A lot of abandoned mines and equipment. 100 years ago, 50 years ago, Today.... It all adds up over time.

Yep, this just shows how it is today. It is so sad people did not have the proper upbringing or parenting. If they were raised properly like I was as well as others we would not have this problem. I am 74 and amazed at the ignorance of people even here on Lake Whitney, Texas and our public lands. I found a letter in a bunch of trash and gave it to the proper authorities. They found the idiots, they were fined $$$$ and had to clean up their mess as well as others under supervision. I bet they will never do this again. Hopefully your clean up will get the idiots that did this.

I'm actually horrified by this. When they catch turds doing this, don't fine them, put them in a chain gang and have them clean. I'm very surprised that the Forestry Service hasn't purchased some cheap trail cameras and posted them in high litter areas. I saw one of your other videos with the construction wastes and appliances, but the scope this was really shocking. Time to crank up the donation machine for these good folks doing great work for all of us.

This is a major problem throughout the west. I was thinking about this exact issue just today. It's not just people that camp out, and leave crap, it's whineyassed people that say "I'm not going to PAY to dump my crap at a "dump", "landfill" or "transfer station". This is PUBLIC land! "I" own this and I'll dump my $h!+ anywhere I want to!" Entitled A-hats. Of ALL political affiliations. I've caught people driving $90K duallies dumping crap in the woods here in So Oregon. They just don't care. On a side note: Those split rim wheels, minus the lock rim and tire, make an awesome fire ring!

Great job, in my opinion you should prevent this and by watching people staying at places like this and get the police on this location to put the behind bars. You will never ever find places like this in the Netherlands, just because of the people are watching over people out here…..
