Some folks love to work with their hands. Others, not so much. I'm also lucky to have Gary when I get myself stuck and sometimes don't have the experience to come up with better solutions. But I'm definitely not afraid to try something (except going up steep hills, ha!)

Wow...ya'll were "wheeling" that rig there a little bit. I just cant ever do that in my rig. I guarantee that if we even thought about treading out there in our rig, it would be quick sand and we would lose it all to the Sleestaks at the Earths Core...Gary needs to put a battery powered chainsaw in that tool box. lol...

We were TRYING to look for a cave. Never found it. We tried to go south to another place called crack in the ground, but never made it there either - there wasn't a through path that wasn't on private property. Didn't realize that going in, but certainly made an interesting 2-dat trip in the forest! At least the lava bed was cool and we got to use the saw we bought a year ago!

Oh, rub it in there! 😂Yeah, we tried to get there through Deschutes NF, and that's NOT the way to go. Better to head to Christmas, Oregon then go up. Maybe NEXT time we head up to Penpac!

I understand your concern but that truck coming down the hill was doing it at a fair speed. You are much heavier, if it was a Rocky base and not deep sand. I would’ve tried the road looking at that. So I have to claim wussy, sorry.
