what did the seller say about these issues? the Matic seamaster I reviewed a couple months back was absolutely perfect. had no defects that I can remember. the crown issue is because of the movement, search reverse gear lube issue for ETA movements. the movement needs a proper lube...not unheard of, unfortunately, from the pt5000 or other ETA 2824 based movements. again, mine had no issues. the alignment of the bezel insert is unfotunate for sure, as is the lume on the seconds hand. those are both unacceptable at this price point. the bezel is fairly easy to fix, but the seconds hand, not so much. the clasp on mine was also a little difficult, I found the divers extension to be getting in the way of it closing properly. it would sometimes come out of position a bit and make the closing process nearly impossible. once I figured that out it wasn't ever and issue for me again. but I'd be sending this one back and getting another. at $180 or so the bezel and lume on the seconds are are deal-breakers. check my review out for what this watch CAN (and should) be. its actually really great if you get a good one.

@@marcelwatchenthusiast5438 That's good - I had a Phylida that had an iffy clasp - they sent me a new clasp straight away and the new clasp was MUCH better than the original.

2:36 - Phylida is the same watch (parent/sister company of Matic), I have it. Same problem with screw down crown, doesn't go all the way in with fingers, I use my T-Shirt. Bezel is alligned, apart from marker 3 on the bezel, it sits lower than the marker 3 on the dial. Also about Pagani Design Seamaster, my whole watch is crooked to the left, both dial and bezel. At least the bezel is alligned to the dial perfectly, so you must know the issue to spot it right away. But dials are perfect on all 3 (I also have the Pagani Design Submariner, but it feels like a very cheap watch compared to Seamasters, should be 40€ instead of 80€). Even 1000-2000€ watches don't have a perfect dial. I just found out a piece of dust under the glass on my Christopher Ward. What I also like is that both regulate their movements. 3 hours and still 0,0s to +0,2s, and Sub at +2,0s. I will never buy a $1000 Seiko (+25s) or Certina (-2s) ever again just because of this.

Maybe they improved quality control after your and some other reviewers' complaints. I just got mine, and it has none of the issues you brought up. Crown screws in perfectly, bezel is aligned perfectly. The bezel action is a little hollow sounding, and the bracelet could be better, but I wasn't expecting Omega quality at 1/25th the price. 😂

Adquiri um recentemente e só tenho elogios ao relógio. O único ponto que precisa melhorar é o fecho do bracelete. No mais o relógio é perfeito, acabamento Premium.

A crown that doesn't screw in is a major flaw and is a sure candidate for a return and a refund. I've got a Phylida Omega GMT -perfect bezelalignment, keeps time well and GMT is accurate, an excellent Phylida moonwatch and a Phylida 007 No Time to Die. All good pieces. The only thing is that the diver's extension on the clasps messes with the operation of the clasps on the Seamaster homages. Hopefully they have fixed that since I bought these a year or so ago. So how is the lume on the Matic?
