The clear one is the new formula and it should say on the bottle "new formula". The white one is the old formula, its not fake. I have used the old bottle in the past and I'm happy they changed the formulation, I like the new one better and the ingredient list is short and simple. If you check the ingredients on both bottles you will see the difference. In the new formula, they use a gentle surfactant called Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate. I can't remember the surfactant they used for the old bottle but it seemed to be hash that's why they changed formulation. Hope this helps.

Your natural hair videos are helpful to others and you have beautiful shiny black healthy hair. 😂 when I tried the new formulation for the first time I didn't expect it to be clear I was scared like is it suppose to look like this because i was so used to the old bottle but when I checked ingredients list on both bottles i was like ohhhhh okay i see 😂. But yeah even the old bottle was extra drying for my scalp so it's good they switched it up.

Your new bottle should have the sulfate-free text even tho its a new formula 🤔 But yeah it's better to buy from a trusted retailer like you mentioned "lookfantastic"

It’s not a fake, one is the sulfate free version and the other is the “Classic” version which has sulfate. That is why the label is different and the product inside looks different.

I have every Keracare shampoo from their professional line. I bought all of them from reputable distributors (JC Penny salon, etc.). The clear 1st Lather is definitely the right one. What's interesting is that their Moisturizing shampoo for color treated hair is actually that milky white texture from the fake bottle but I'm not sure if what you have is even the moisturizing one. Also, your bottle with the clear 1st Lather doesn't say sulfate free. Mine does. Did you check the ingredients to see if it has sulfates? *For anyone's reference, the Dry and Itchy Scalp shampoo should be blue like the bottle and the Hydrating and Detangling shampoo should be pale yellow. Wow, thanks so much for this! Indeed, the bottle with the clear shampoo had some differents, behind the bottle it says Sulfate free, but on the front nothing and also it doesn't have the AVLON branded on the top of the bottle😅 but the texture is good😅. The other one with the milky white texture really feels off on the hair, and I always had to use a lot of it to make my hair foam😳. In my mind I always thought that the shampoo is not what they discribed, but didn't really put my mind on it. Regarding the Hydrating detangling shampoo, the color is indeed pale yellow and really does what the describtion says. I have learn my lessons on this one😂

I have had a incident where I contacted the company because they put the wrong Shampoo from another one of their lines they make in a bottle I received.

I noticed when I brought the dandruff shampoo and conditioner from Amazon or Walmart, and now I just go straight to the company website and buy straight from them. Because I also saw a difference in my hair.

Only buy hair products from authorized retailers for that product. I learned my lesson years ago after receiving a fake hair product from Amazon.

Hi Culture Coach Angela, I think you have the hydrating detangle shampoo which is yellow gold(good one). What I was referring too in my video was the 1st leather shampoo. Keracare have 2 types of shampoo. So don't worry you have a good shampoo😉

Hi Andrea, Keracare has 2 types of shampoo. The 1st leather shampoo(clear) and the Hydrating detangling shampoo(golden yellow).The one I was referring to in my video was the 1st leather shampoo. What you have is the Hydrating detangling shampoo which has the right color😇

Hi Bobby, owh that is sad to read. A viewer wrote me that the milky one was Keracare previous formula, they got lots of complain about that one because it dried out the hair(i experienced that too). So the clear one should be the new formula. Anyway, on Keracare website a buyer complain about the same thing, but Keracare didn't replied... so even me I am not sure what to believe🤷🏾‍♀️.

To be honest, I don't remember. I use to buy them from difference third party(online as in stores) due to price difference and stockages. Look Fantastic should have the right one, because they're qualified to sell hair products. So their products should be legit.

Hii Esther, I don't know who I should blame. I really think it isn't keracare fault, because they're vendors out here who are trying to make fake products when they see a popular brand and they want to take advantage of it. So, it's hard to know. I found it out when I was replacing the shampoo and saw the differents. And also I didn't buy it straight from Keracare but from a third party🤷🏾‍♀️. So, I can't blame Keracare.

Omg 🥱 I have the big bottle that the product is milky white and the product is not with me where I am now.so can't check the written on it . I actually don't like the feel on my hair after use because it leaves my hair very dry ,tangled and does not lather but my hair normalises after the use of the keracare detangling shampoo and I taught the 1st lather shampoo was doing it job . Because I don't enjoy using it at I prefer using the ors aloe shampoo to clarify monthly than using the 1st lather on wash days before the detangling shampoo Not knowing all this while I was using the fake one .

I have a bottle of Hydrating shampoo. It is clear..UNTIL I SHAKE IT UP..and then it looks creamy. I made the mistake of washing w/o shaking and it acted like the 1 st lather clarifying shampoo, stripping my hair. I shook the bottle and it had 'slip'. I tossed out the bottle. And, of Course...it was sold on AMAZON!!!!!! I now buy on Ebay from a supply which has BOTTLES FACTORY SEALED FROM CAP TO BOTTOM. It has no knockoffs like Amazon. (beautykingdom)...and I do not work for them..just a customer.
