Hey, Dr Lambert, thank you for your videos. I just wanted to give you some feedback on this one. I am finding the music to be quite distracting, and I find it hard to understand what you're saying underneath it. If I could offer a suggestion, it would be to turn the music down a bit so it's more background, or possibly instead put some soft piano or soft classical music in the background might work well / better. Or no music at all! Your words are content enough :) 🎉 But that's just one opinion, and I know you didn't ask for it! So, at the end of the day, however you make your videos is okay! :)

I realize a lot of people don’t like the music. Many of these short videos were originally on TikTok where music is much more common. Sorry the music is too loud.

I believe that either folks are born with the gift of the art of logic or not. It is amazing how many people just can not figure out problems and are reactive versus proactive. To be proactive, one has to be able to see the obstacles that could arise before it happens. Yes, many view this as over-planning, but it sure saves time in the end. Unfortunately, many people just "aint got that talent".

@Noodles73__ . High logic is truly a gift. Everybody has a talent in something. Those employees that are not able to see the details and outcomes (end result) need to be in a job that does not require seeing the trees (details) and the forest (end result). Therefore, place employees where just seeing the "trees" is required.... like data entry, validating documents, processes, etc. Employees that have logistical talent need to be groomed for leadership supervisory positions where seeing the big picture and the details on "how to get there" is a significant trait. That's why there are fewer leaders than subordinates; there are few people that are truly gifted in the logistical thought process. Ya can't teach logic. Problems today are people are placed politically in leadership positions that can not handle the position requirements, hence failed outcomes. And, people still scratch their heads and wonder why.

@@user-dn9vd9xg9p Are you implying that Logic is purely based on talent?

You are describing a deterministic flavor of problem solving, where the solution can be copied from previous efforts, and the level of innovation is low. The other kind is much harder, and the process is a bit different.

The process of reasoning from goals backward to the present state and then identifying subgoals to move closer to the goal is a very classic and general approach to problem solving. What approach do you see as an alternative?

Unfortunately, the helicopter mom now prevents kids from learning these skills early in life. Kids are learning problem solving skills through TikTok. 😢
